What do my dreams mean?

For the past 6 months I have had reoccurring dreams in which I am with this certain girl. The dreams usually start with me walking into the room and her seeing me from afar, she'll run up to me (often pushing others out of the way), and sometimes I have something to give to her ( a single red rose, a bouquet of flowers) or I'd say something ("I told you I would come." or "I wouldn't miss this for anything.") Most of the time, she is dressed up in formal dress, as with the others around her. I don't know what I am wearing, but presumably something similar to the others. After talking or giving her the flowers, the dream ends in us kissing and people acting as if they were surprised by the action. The girl I am having dreams about is my close friend whom I had a sort of fling over the summer with, but because of complications (me going to college and she still in high school) we didn't really make anything of a relationship. The problem is that everyone has always told us that we would be perfect for each other, but she has had numerous guys like her, including myself, but I have always worried about ruining our friendship if anything went wrong. What exactly are my dreams trying to get across?
