Sorry for another 'Swine Flu' Q...?

My little girl is 13 months old, I received an invitation to the swine flu jab on Monday but am two minds whether to let her have it. My partner says yes but I don't know. I don't trust it at all and I'm not having it myself so why should I let her have it? Has anyone had their kids done? What were the side effects? Was it 1 jab or 2? And, what's safer for her? Can she still catch swine flu if I catch it as I'm not having the jab?
