Male menopause...is it possible?

my husband and i came home from shopping at costco earlier tonight,and suddenly he started to feel cold,but when i went to touch him,he was hot,and now he has been up several times already,and he is claiming to be sweating,and as a joke i told him he is going through male menopause....is it possible? today is his birthday he just turned 49, or is it possible that he maybe becoming sick.
