Is there any site(s) for education loans that are free besides SallieMae and others that say free?

If you filled out a fafsa in the Spring of 2009, it should have been for the 2009/2010 school year, I would look at the application that you filed (if you did it online, you can see it). If not, look up your awards letter on the site to see which dates it listed. Unfortunately, if you do not have excellent credit, you will probably not be able to find a student loan without a cosigner. You can call any bank to ask about student loans, but since the economy is bad, most aren't taking chances on individuals with less-than-stellar credit ratings. Good luck!
