Should i take piano or guitar?

Piano would be a good instrument to learn first as it gives you a solid basis and is easier to learn/understand how to read and play music and how music actually works (music theory). A lot of people (not all) pick up guitar on their own and learn to read tabs and play chords but never really learn music. I've been playing guitar since I was 7 and love the guitar, but I wish I had learned to play piano, and based on my experience I would advise any serious musician to learn piano first or along with another instrument. Seriously though, learn to play both.
