I have a friend who was found guilty of domestic violence?

This was from a nasty child custody case. Filed by the mother to gain custody for free. what do we do now? out of money but there was no domestic violence . Just a parent being a parent making the children follow rules and such. im in ohio btw, any help would be greatly appreciated. there were no criminal charges it was a cpo , much easier to get and you need no proof to file one. just allegations.
