Anyone out there with parents obsessed with epic movies, books..?

My mom is obsessed with epic movies like lord of the rings, starwars, Harry potter, narnia, x men, And especially Eragon. I love my mom and she's awsome to me cause I love that too. But it's weird cause my mom is mexican and when my mom starts talking to my aunts about them they just look at her like whatever and I feel sad? Like she really loves all that and people look at her like an outcast. She is obsessed with dragons haha. What do your parents like or any Intresting stuff your parents love? :)
